The artist’s image is intrinsically linked to portraiture. Before photography, the image of the artist was usually a self-portrait and hence in a state of scrutinization ~ a portrait of the artist staring at their reflection in order to depict his own image.

I can even help you figure out the best headshot options for your particular artistry and invite you to think outside the box, which is always a good idea when it comes to being unique! Both indoor and outdoor portrait photography are available options.
When it comes to wearing makeup for your headshots, it should be very simple but very well done. If you normally don’t wear makeup then it is silly to pile it on for your headshots. The headshots would look unnatural. If you never wear Makeup but would feel more comfortable wearing some that accentuate your features in a subtle way then book this in with me.
Your make up should help the viewer focus on the eyes and the mouth which are the essence of a great portrait.
I recommend to wear what you would wear on a normal day but more polished.
You want to look like yourself.
